The Holy Family College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences was instituted by the Holy Family Hospital, a charitable organization that takes immense pride in the pursuance of the visionary medical mission of Dr. Anna Maria Dengel to meet the rapidly growing need of graduate nurses since 1962.
Aforementioned mission continued with the start of midwifery training in 1954 followed by General Nursing Diploma in 1962. The values of this mission include compassion, justice and concern for all in need, irrespective of race, caste, creed, national origin, political affiliation or financial status. Nursing School building was constructed in 1967, while in 1971 the hospital was expanded to 255 beds with a surge in trainee nurses.
These graduates are now providing their services to promote health care in Pakistan and abroad, through their professional knowledge and skills. A number of our graduates enjoy important management and teaching posts in Nursing Schools, Hospitals and Clinics nationally and internationally.
